LOS ANGELES (KABC) -- After a rainy Saturday morning, Southern California is starting to dry out.
Keep those umbrellas around, though, because the moisture hasn't completely moved out. Many areas were still experiencing light-to-moderate rain on Saturday evening.
Some parts of the region could see very scattered rainfall on Sunday as the area of low pressure continues to move through.
The National Weather Service has issued a winter weather advisory all across the mountains of Southern California until 11 p.m. Saturday. Snow fell in the mountains on Saturday, causing slick roads.
There is also a wind advisory in effect for the desert regions through 11 p.m., with winds in the 40 to 50 mph range.
After the front clears out, blue skies and sunshine should return for the work week.
Los Angeles and Orange counties Sunday will stay on the cool side, with a high of 62 and a low of 51. Expect a lingering 20% chance for showers, and then a beautiful, warm week after that.
The valleys and the Inland Empire Sunday can expect a 20% chance of rain with a high of 63. Then, temperatures jump 10 degrees on Monday with a high of 73, and another big jump on Tuesday with a high of 80.
At the beaches Sunday, expect a cloudy day with a high of 64 degrees and a low of 53, with the highest chance for scattered showers in the morning.
After Saturday's snow, the mountains can expect a chilly Sunday with a high of only 43 and a low of 24. Though, like the rest of the region, temperatures are expected to warm back up in the work week.
Deserts Sunday can expect a high of 63 degrees and a low of 41.
