Color coding reduces medical errors

The study, conducted at Penn State, says that color-coding medication bottles and needles prevents potentially harmful errors in emergency rooms.

Another bonus - the color-coding system is less expensive than some other high-tech ways previously proposed.

Some pharmacies already use the color-coding system.
