"Just driving by and seen there was some activity," said David Howart.
Howart, who lives nearby, stopped to see what was going on. "Looks like someone was hit by a car. A walker is sitting in the road. It's terrible. It's tragic."
Police believe the woman was struck by a vehicle while she was standing in the street. They are still trying to figure out if it was a traffic accident or possibly a homicide. Investigators don't believe her body had been there long.
An autopsy will be done.
This death follows a very deadly couple of days in the Flint area.
Before this death, six people were killed in just three days in Genesee County: Two in Flint Saturday, another one in Flint Township that same day.
An 18-year-old female, Andrianna Caudle, was shot and killed Sunday in Flint, and then an apparent murder/suicide in Genesee Township yesterday.
Genesee Township police identify the pair as 35-year-old Jason Sedlacek and 32-year-old Jamie Sedlacek.
Police responding to a welfare check found them both dead inside a home.
Investigators in Flint still want to speak with Stanley Smith about the double homicide of 15-year-old Porsche Turner and 27-year-old Martarien Wilson on Saturday. They were found shot to death inside a home on Kearsley Park Boulevard.
Smith is being described as a person of interest.
Turner is the youngest of all of these victims at 15. The oldest victim was just 35.
