"They're happy. I finally have become the dad they thought I would be. From time to time, they would say, 'Daddy, you're just wasting your talent' or 'Daddy, if I had a voice like that I would be doing this, that and the other,'" said Williams.
Williams reunited with his 90-year-old mother on Thursday after ten years of not seeing her.
"Get it together, forget about the old friends and things that you used to do with old friends. Have a new life. Support God, let him get you straight," Julia Williams told her son.
Williams has already put his golden voice to work, recording a macaroni and cheese commercial for Kraft.
He's also weighing a job offer from the Cleveland Cavaliers.
