There was an unexpected encounter for a group of snorkelers off Palm Beach, Florida Friday.
They found a whale shark, the largest fish in the ocean.
Fully grown whale sharks can grow to more than 40 feet long.
Whale sharks are harmless to humans. They only eat plankton.
