Hong Kong's Disneyland launches expansion

HONG KONG

Disney and Hong Kong government officials held an opening ceremony Thursday to christen the new "Toy Story" attractions.

Inside "Toy Story Land," visitors will feel like they've shrunk to the size of toys themselves.

Guests will also be able to take a spin on the "Slinky Dog Spin" and the "Toy Soldiers Parachute Drop."

Two more themed attractions, "Grizzly Gulch" and "Mystic Point" are set to open within the next two years.

Hong Kong Disneyland is the smallest of Disney's parks worldwide. Since it opened in 2005, it has been criticized for being too small to draw sufficient visitors.

Disney is the parent company of ABC7.
