Michelle Fisher co-anchors ABC7 Eyewitness News weekend evenings and is also a general assignment reporter.

Michelle joined the ABC7 Los Angeles team in November 2022. Prior to joining KABC-TV, Michelle worked as an anchor at the Black News Channel and at NBC News, where she anchored a digital show called "The Report by NBC News" on Quibi.

Prior to her time in New York City, Michelle worked for WBZ-TV, CBS Boston, as a reporter and fill-in anchor. Michelle's broadcasting career started in Monroe, Louisiana, where she was a morning anchor for KTVE/KARD, the NBC/FOX duopoly covering parts of Louisiana, Arkansas and Mississippi.

A Virginia native, Michelle is the proud daughter of two former broadcast journalists. She graduated from the University of Virginia, with a Bachelor's degree in American Studies. After completing her undergraduate degree, Michelle relocated to Los Angeles where she earned a post-baccalaureate journalism certificate from UCLA's continuing education school. While she was a student at UCLA Extension, Michelle completed two internships at KABC-TV, which truly makes her return to Southern California and ABC7 Los Angeles a full-circle (seven) moment in her career!

In her free time, Michelle enjoys spending time with family and friends, doing DIY crafts, thrift shopping and being a dog mom to her Shih Tzu, Lucy.
