55-year old Stephen Deck was found guilty Tuesday of attempted lewd acts on a child under 14.
Deck was among 13 people arrested during a sting in February 2006 for trying lure supposed teenagers to have sex.
According to Deputy District Attorney Robert Mestman, Deck brought a digital camera and condoms with him when he drove from Oceanside to meet the agent who he thought was a girl at a park in Laguna Beach.
He had been out on bail since his arrest but was taken into custody Tuesday.
Deck is scheduled to be sentenced Jan. 2 and could face up to four years in prison.
