LOS ANGELES

British scientists named a type of newly discovered Yeti crab after the "Baywatch" actor because the crabs, like Hasselhoff, have hairy chests.

Scientists discovered the crab living around volcanic vents in the ocean near Antarctica. They've been dubbed "The Hoff."

The species is still waiting to get a more scientific name.
