The suspect was driving as fast as 110 miles per hour. He eventually exited the freeway in San Bernardino.
At Vermont Street and 1st Avenue, the suspect jumped out of his car and ran, but he was quickly taken into custody.
There was no immediate word why he was fleeing police, although police say the suspect has a suspended license.
