Doctors were able to reattach her right foot after the accident on the Superman Tower of Power ride at Six Flags Kentucky Kingdom. Her left foot was severely damaged and had to be amputated below the knee.
The family says Kaitlyn has regained her appetite and some weight, but doctors say it'll be months before they know whether her body has accepted or rejected the reattached right foot.
