The suspect was holed up in a home near Main and Victoria streets. Authorities said the man was inside the home alone.
Los Angeles County deputies evacuated a few nearby homes while they worked to get the man out. Officials say he was wanted for making threats against a family member. It was not clear whether the suspect was armed.
