Monterey Park home catches fire, residents report hearing explosion

MONTEREY PARK, Calif.

A house on the 200 block of Markland Drive caught on fire. Several people called the Eyewitness Newsroom just before 2 a.m. to report hearing an explosion.

Fire officials can't confirm if there was an explosion. No injuries were reported.
