Earlier this week, Che Cruz, 20, acknowledged trespassing at the home, and was sentenced to 45 days in jail and probation.
He was released from jail Friday, after serving seven days in the trespassing case.
He was re-arrested about eight hours later, when Los Angeles County Sheriff's deputies say they saw him scaling a fence to gain access to Gomez's home.
He is being held on $20,000 bail.
